A note from the Founder

Hey I am Sonam

The Design Ethos was born from my own journey through education and over 15 years of working across fashion, steel exports, health tech, and real estate. While pursuing my MSc at Kingston University London and throughout my career, I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to turn education, experience, and continuous learning into better work and meaningful opportunities.

I realised that learning alone isn’t always enough. People also need practical mindset, honest industry guidance, mentorship, feedback and opportunities to apply what they learn.

That’s why I started The Design Ethos — an AI-powered learning ecosystem for designers, developers, product professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn, practise, experiment, and build through structured guidance, community, mentorship, and real-world projects.

Inspired by my learning journey at Kingston University London and Oxford’s AI for Business programme, we’re AI-positive by design, helping people use AI to think better, create with purpose, and prepare for the realities of work.

We’re starting small, building thoughtfully, and growing alongside our community.
